From AVStudioPro.com's Founder, Lenny B
Thank you for taking the time to look further into the website. The AVStudioPro.com project is an extension of my passion for music, producing multimedia, and recording equipment. I am a musician, composer, digital audio geek, photographer, and audio and video editor/producer. I have worked in the broadcast radio industry in Southern California for over 22 years. I have experience hostingFM radio morning shows, designing radio station imaging, developing marketing campaigns, producing radio promotions, and producing large scale live events.
I’ve been fortunate to interview many recognizable people include Steve Carell, Tom Cruise, Dave Foley, and hundreds of musicians including Duran Duran, Seal, Kenny G, and Michael McDonald. I’ve also had the pleasure of working directly with legendary voiceover talents including Don LaFontaine and Chris Corley.
At the beginning of 2013 I decided to step away from the radio industry to focus on my own consulting business. This allowed me more time for my true passion, composing and producing original music. I began “Lenny B Creative,” a consulting and production company specializing in creative social media marketing pieces and custom music composition. I feel very blessed to be able to earn a living utilizing my passion for audio and video. When the audience connects with the creative media I’ve developed for them, it motivates and inspires me.
The AVStudioPro.com blog features a collection of broadcasting techniques, tips, and philosophies that my professional colleagues and I have gathered through the years. Technology has made self-publishing available to anyone with a computer. Realizing that the power to connect with a global community is in our hands, my hope is that the information here is shared, building a community of content creators that can connect their passions to people around the world with similar interests.
I don’t profess to know everything about audio, video, or computers …etc. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not always correct and that I am open to learning from others. In fact, I hope to learn a lot as I post and receive feedback.
My intent is to provide information for all levels of multimedia users. While AVStudioPro.com is a valuable source for the small studio professional and the beginner, my hope is that it will also be useful to the seasoned producer. Here, I will be sharing ways to save money on your equipment setup and expose you to time-saving workflow procedures. I intend to dish out tried and true techniques that raise production value. I’ll explore modern (and classic) recording techniques and discuss the better strategies to improve “talent” performance. We’ll explore cutting-edge techniques and revisit classic principles that will help your message resonate with the largest audience possible.
You are invited to join me as I discover what is new in the world of audio and video and share my experience from my many years in the music and broadcast industry.
Sincerely, -Lenny B
